blue and black

Getting a good photo in this light was not easy. One minute it was intense sunlight, the next black clouds. Roll on summer and longer days! So I apologize for not having the best quality shots.

I used to hear lots of talk about whether you should wear blue and black together and for a long time I didn't brave it. But one day I thought 'hey, why not just give it a go' so here I am in my latest addition to the blues in my wardrobe.

How do you feel about wearing blue and black together?

  1. Wow, look at those heels! You're a better woman than I am, Rachel, I wouldn't get very far in those! Loving the bright cobalt blue on you, and yes, I like it with black. It might make for tricky photography conditions, but isn't it nice to have some sunshine?
PS. Longest Legs in Derbyshire? I think so! xxx

    1. I love a good heel, Curtise. The higher the better. I haven't had a pair get the better of me yet! I'm glad you like the outfit, I feel comfy in it. I am loving the sun especially this morning with the frost, it looked so beautiful. xxx

  3. I love it- the blue and black look; however the glasses look to be a too dark of a black as compared to the rest of the black shown- or maybe it's just the lighting as you mentioned. Cute outfit and accessories- where from? Thanks again for your comment in my last blog. Haha I was on my date with my hubby when I read it and my hubby thought your comment was sweet as well. 1. Thank you so much Rachel. It was difficult to get good light, roll on summer! I got my dress and accessories from River Island. My boots were from Aldo. Thanks for your lovely comment xx

  4. I love the blue and black together, it absolutely works. One of my favorite color combos is navy and gray which I always thought wouldn't go together but seems like they do :)

  5. I see nothing wrong in wearing black and blue. I have a sweater of exactly same colour as your dress. And I wear it with black skinnies. So, I love your outfit, looks great!
